Brachers Solicitors came to Swarm with a clear challenge: their existing website was unwieldy, hard to update, and offered little control over its vast content. We proposed a fully custom WordPress solution tailored to their needs—giving them the flexibility to manage more than 2,000 pages across multiple practice areas with confidence.
Comprehensive UX & Information Architecture
We kicked off with a deep-dive UX discovery phase: stakeholder interviews, user surveys, and a thorough content audit. From this, we built out detailed sitemaps and interactive wireframes that captured every key user touchpoint—whether a prospective private client researching family law or an in-house counsel exploring corporate regulations. With such a broad scope of services, it was critical that all content remain immediately findable, logically grouped, and easy to navigate on any device.
Clean, Contemporary Responsive Design
Based on our UX blueprint, Swarm crafted a modern, minimalist visual style: ample white space, clear typographic hierarchy, and intuitive calls to action. Every page was designed with mobile-first responsiveness in mind, ensuring that clients on smartphones or tablets enjoy the same seamless experience as desktop users.
Two-Tier Sector Navigation
To help visitors quickly zero in on the right department, we implemented a two-layer menu system. The primary navigation highlights Brachers’ core pillars—Personal Law, Business Law, and Sector Support—while the secondary tier exposes specific sub-services under each heading. This hierarchical approach keeps the navigation menu clean, yet powerful enough to guide users through hundreds of specialised practice pages.
Since launch, Brachers has been able to publish new content, update service listings, and manage resources in-house—with none of the frustrations that plagued their old site. The result is a robust, future-proof platform that’s as easy for their team to maintain as it is for clients to explore.
In addition, Swarm designed and delivered a comprehensive, custom icon library—more than 30 polished, on-brand icons covering every service area, feature block, and interactive element—ensuring a consistent visual language across the entire site.

Brachers have been delighted with the results: the new site not only meets their functionality and branding goals but also gives their team complete confidence in managing and expanding content. We’re now working hand-in-hand on the next phase of enhancements—optimising performance, adding new interactive features, and continuously refining the user experience as their business evolves.
