What we did:
Nickelodeon approached us to create a suite of expanding MPU (Multi Purpose Units) for ‘website takeover’ of Nickelodeon and competitor websites. The brief was to create a digital rich media campaign for All New All Nick: Phase 2 that would sit within the wider current TV creative.
The MPU suite was to showcase new episodes of current shows (Sam & Cat, The Haunted Hathaways) and to announce the UK premiere of Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. The creative had to take to be able to run as a single campaign (Sam & Cat) but also as a dual campaign (The Haunted Hathaways and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn).
There is a lot of content within this suite of MPU so the real challenge for us was to be able to keep the file sizes as small as possible but also giving the user an instant load plus smooth transition between screens.
