Light Projects is a specialist lighting house, expertly designing, manufacturing, and supplying high-performance fixtures and accessories for both architectural and display applications. Whether it’s a precision spotlight for a global museum installation or a bespoke uplighter for a heritage building, their portfolio spans an impressively diverse marketplace and reads like a who’s-who of prestigious clients.

A Truly Global Catalogue

From internationally renowned brands to their own “Made in Britain” collection, Light Projects offers thousands of SKUs—surface-mounted downlights, recessed accent lighting, track systems, custom LED modules, lens assemblies, and more. Managing such a vast, ever-changing inventory of technical products requires a website that’s as flexible and reliable as the fixtures themselves.

Swarm designed and built a purpose-driven website that could handle Light Projects’ enormous catalogue while delivering an intuitive, design-led experience:

  1. Taxonomy-Powered Browsing: A multi-level filter system lets users drill down by application (architectural, display, hospitality), fixture type, beam angle, finish, and more—so specifiers find the right product in just a few clicks.

  2. Rich Technical Resources: Each product page features downloadable photometric data (IES/LMF files), CAD/BIM models, and bespoke “Quick-Specs” PDFs, all managed via a custom CMS interface.

  3. “Made in Britain” Showcase: A dedicated collection page highlights in-house designs, with imagery and a narrative about UK-based fabrication and quality control.
