Harmer Financial Solutions prides itself on forging true partnerships—with clients and with their wider professional teams, including solicitors, accountants, and tax advisers—to craft fully rounded financial plans. Whether it’s retirement planning, wealth accumulation, estate preservation or corporate pension design, they understand that lasting success comes from vigilant, ongoing support rather than one?off fixes. Their guiding promise—“Financial peace of mind. That is our aim for you…”—underscores every recommendation, review meeting and portfolio adjustment.

When Swarm began work on their web presence, it became apparent that Harmer FS had very little bespoke imagery—no hero photos of client meetings, no office shots, and a firm reluctance to fall back on the usual stock?photo clichés of handshakes or skyscraper panoramas. Instead of forcing ill?fitting visuals onto their story, we proposed a typographic?first approach that would:

Convey Authority Through Type
We selected clean, humanist sans font to ensure readability and approachability. Strategic use of font weight, colour accents, and refined letter spacing allows key messages (like their “Financial peace of mind” mantra) to stand out without distraction. -
Establish a Cohesive Brand Palette
Working closely with the stakeholders, we distilled Harmer FS’s existing logo colours into a restrained palette of the deep navy (trust), warm slate (stability), and a single highlight tone (growth). Accent colors are used sparingly to draw the eye to calls-to-action—“Book a Review,” “Download Our Guide,” and so on—while the majority of pages remain elegantly minimal.
By leaning into typography, custom data visuals, and a refined colour strategy, we delivered Harmer FS a website that feels both modern and reassuringly professional—fully aligned with their promise of long-term partnership and financial tranquillity, without ever resorting to tired stock imagery.
